Norway - The Myklebust ship and the magic of the fjords

The Myklebust ship will also be navigating the fjord for a couple of days in 2025.

Be part of the great spectacle when the largest Viking ship ever found starts its journey on the fjord.
The
30 metre long Myklebustskipet was Audbjørn Frøbjørnsson’s companion until 870 , when he lost his life in the Battle of Solskjel against Harald Fairhair.
He was burned together with his ship and his treasures in the middle of
Nordfjordeid in a typical Viking ritual.

In 2024, the grave was reopened after 150 years and further evidence of the ship was found, as well as the old Viking settlement of
Audbjørn Frøbjørnssons and its citizens.

The upcoming event only offers a place on the mighty warship to major sponsors such as RedBull.
IceNFire Private Guiding would like to offer everyone the chance to sail on the fjord with a viking ship. We are the only tour operator to have exclusively reserved places on the boat.

The Viking market around the Sagastad Museum is a perfect addition.
This great festival not only attracts sponsors, TV and us to
Nordfjordeid, even well-known celebrities, influencers and actors from the Viking scene have announced their attendance for 2025.

The trip is limited to 12 participants and offers our guests an adventurous and relaxed stay in the land of the Vikings and ancient myths.

Raise your horns and prepare for a unique experience.
